Casa Botanica Panama is a boutique eco-luxury villa nestled within a former botanical garden in Bocas del Toro, Panama. Sleeping up to 10 guests across a main villa and casitas, it offers a private tropical escape with ocean and jungle views, a saltwater pool, and curated local experiences. With a 4.9-star Airbnb rating and a growing reputation among international travellers, the brand had real quality behind it. Their website just wasn't showing it.

The Challenge
Casa Botanica arrived on Squarespace, with a simple site that didn't come close to representing the experience they were selling. Key challenges included:

- A template-driven design with no visual identity, leaving the site feeling generic against the distinctiveness of the property and brand.
- The existing logo and brand assets were strong but completely underused, with no consistency in how they appeared across the site.
- No dedicated villa pages, booking flow, or structured way to communicate amenities, experiences, and concierge services.
- Limited SEO capability on the Squarespace setup, restricting visibility for competitive travel and accommodation search terms.

Our Approach
We migrated from Squarespace to WordPress and designed from the logo outward, making sure every element of the site reflected the premium, nature-led identity Casa Botanica already had.
- Designed a bespoke WordPress site in Figma that brought the brand's visual identity to life consistently across every page.
- Built dedicated villa and casitas pages with immersive imagery, amenity breakdowns, and clear booking entry points.
- Designed a streamlined booking and enquiry flow to reduce friction and drive direct reservations.
- Structured content and metadata to target Panama villa rental and Bocas del Toro travel search terms.

The Solution
The brand that was previously invisible online is now front and centre, with a consistent visual identity, an intuitive booking journey, and pages that do justice to one of Panama's most distinctive places to stay. For businesses sitting on a strong brand that their website isn't reflecting, this project is a clear example of what's possible when design starts with identity rather than templates.
